We are continuing to deliver our EU funding programmes. Applications for EU funds are still being developed and approved in line with objectives agreed by the European Commission.

EU Structural and Investment Fund projects which are approved whilst the UK remains in the EU will have their full funding guaranteed by the UK Treasury. This means that project expenditure is guaranteed even when the lifetime of the approved project extends beyond the UK’s exit of the EU. 

A guarantee has also been made for investments to UK organisations through programmes directly managed by the European Commission, such as Horizon 2020.
